What is L O U D E R ?

For years I’ve been told to “be louder.” This is how I choose to turn up the volume...

'Louder' is an idea that landed in my lap. For years, I’ve been told “be louder.” Last year; 2020, was an eruption of loudness in all forms. Personally, I fell from a path I thought I should be on, but soon trekked down one I have always wanted to be on. It took a few nights in hospital, and one more person to tell me to be loud; to make me realise that it’s time to pull my creative ambitions out of my desk drawer! I may be softly-spoken, but I am strong-willed!

This 'Louder' blog is a showcase of thoughts that more often than not, remain unspoken; in forms of topical articles, lyrical poetry and philosophical musings. It is created for those who are loud in all its forms; not just volume. Everyone wants their voice to be heard; but we are capable of using any of our senses to receive each other’s call.

I hope that my words will evoke positive responses from others; and allow me to discover connections with people who may otherwise remain unfound.

- like a game controller, direction can change in an instant, and there is no wrong way

TRICKERY

- inspired by 'the hat aka snake which ate an elephant' from Le Petit Prince; plus a bowtie to create a performance-ready ensemble

MOTHER NATURE

- mountains, moon and stars within a sun, that has roots below and rain drops as rays
